The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including a Self Emptying Robot Vacuum (Justbookmark.Win)-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of the button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better - its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a major issue if you want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something needs attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are great but they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than what some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and taking out all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
