The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can choose the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not the best robot vacuum deals time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers and robot vacuum and mop combo also to clean your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is superior - its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush to allow for Robot Vacuum And Mop Combo deeper cleaning. But that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered ones, create minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something is in need of attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could want. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
