The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button press. You can choose an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do and can remove pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones produce very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that must be cleared out regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best robot vacuum cleaner performers in my tests cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first go. It is able to vacuum up wet dry robot Vacuum spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best mapping robot vacuum known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and wet dry robot Vacuum carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
