The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use lidar robot vacuum to map out your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ dyson robot vacuum vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button click. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock robot Vacuum Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for Roborock robot Vacuum more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a problem if you want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on whenever it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something needs attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's clutter that must be cleaned out frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you don't often see on robots of this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can modify how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This creates a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop with ease and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard flooring or Roborock robot vacuum quaker oats off the carpet.
