Anti-key cloning

The ghost immobiliser has been designed to stop key hacking and cloning. The device connects to your vehicle's CAN data network and generates an unique pin code push sequence using the factory buttons on your dashboard and steering wheel. This prevents the thief from being able to start your car. If the incorrect PIN code is entered, your car cannot be started and it will be impossible for them to drive away with your joy and pride.

OBD port hacking

OBD port hacking has become the latest technique used by professional car thieves. Thieves are able to access your vehicle's OBD using the help of a laptop, mobile app, and some cables that can be purchased on the internet for less than PS50. Once they have access, they are able to do whatever they want to do, from resetting your vehicle's fault codes, tuning your vehicle, or stealing it within a matter of minutes.

It will protect your car from being stolen by requiring a specific PIN code to be entered with your key fob prior to you start the engine or vehicle drive away. To utilize an OBD hacking device, you'll need to have a laptop with software capable of reading the OBD protocol. These can be purchased for under PS100 on ebay or Amazon. You will also need an OBD cable that has OBD pins that connect to the CAN bus. These can be purchased on Amazon or Ebay for around PS50. The next step is to connect the cable into the wire harness of your vehicle for example, the radio wiring harness.

Once the hacker has a connection to your vehicle's OBD port, they are able to send diagnostics to the system at a high baud rate which will crash the CAN, and prevent systems within your car from working. This could cause the engine to stop or even lock doors, and even the brakes to activate.
