The Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner

The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th Anniversary next year with the release of a Mulsanne special edition. It pays tribute to the company's founder father, W.O. Bentley and includes a portion of one of his personal cars.

The special model available on either a long-wheelbase or a regular-wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. The influence of this car can be seen in the interior. For example, a Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet has the display of a piece of the 8 Litre crankshaft displayed inside.

W.O. is emblazoned in an air vent in the shape of a B on the chrome application that runs along the back side of the vehicle. The front grille is designed in 1930s-style Onyx, and there's an optional chrome finish around the lower spoilers to the left and right. The front grille also features unique design, with a chrome shell replacing the body-color mesh of Mulsanne. It also includes the Flying B Logo.

A key box with the Bentley wings can hold two keys and is adorned with black flock lining. individual key pouches are available to complement or contrast the key box. The commemorative set includes an 1:18 scale model as well as a flying "B" paperweight. It also includes an illustrated booklet that features never-before seen images of the original 1930s Bentley 8 Litre.

Customers can also have their own custom Bentley logo laser-etched on the rear fixing, as a nod to the 1930 8 Litre W.O. Edition that inspired the car. Bentley's "Speed" series is a bit of a hoot taking the Continental GT's already exaggerated excess and turning it up to eleven. It's not only about the stunning exterior or the extra hors d'oeuvres. There are also mechanical enhancements like the reworked suspension and stiffer handling that make the car less slippery.
