It is compatible with digital mapping and virtual barriers which lets you program the robot to stay out of certain areas, or even stop cleaning altogether to avoid it from getting stuck.

It's not the top in its price range however it's better than the majority of other options. The Roborock E4 has a better cleaning capability than the Roomba 694, and it is able to clean both carpets with a low pile and bare. It also has a longer-lasting battery and a cleaner route. It also feels better-made and has fewer components that need regular maintenance, is less expensive to own over its lifetime, and charges faster than the 694.

You may also want to consider other models in the iRobot range, including the v7 or the 981. They're more expensive, however they provide significant improvements over the 694 in terms of cleaning efficiency on both low- and bare floors. They also follow a more efficient cleaning route and have a larger dirt compartment, are more efficient to charge, maneuver themselves more easily, and are more easy to pair with smart home devices.

In our tests in our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair with ease, removing huge amounts of hair from floors that were not bare and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. It was a little less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to get at dirt and dust buried in the fibers. It was able to maneuver the legs of chairs, small spaces, and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. We did notice it was a bit slower on bare floors however it soon recovered speed and performed better than the other robots we tried.

The IQ is a better option over the iRobot Roomba 694 for most applications. It has a bigger dust bin, lasts longer on a charge, and is capable of maneuvering itself around obstacles. It also comes with a mopping attachment that can deal with sticky debris. On the other side the iRobot feels better-built and has fewer components that require maintenance or replacement and has lower recurring costs and creates virtual no-go zones with its companion app. It can even restart cleaning from where it left off in case it runs out of battery before having completed the task. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice, which is a huge benefit for many users.

Eufy 11S

The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum around, but it does offer excellent cleaning power at a low price. This robot vacuum is made for those who are budget conscious and don't require a complicated mapping system, or an application to control it. This robot will last for up to an hour. It comes with the remote control, cleaning tool and AC power adapter.

The 11S is slim and sleek, with a tempered glass upper deck that covers plastic and is made to look like brushed aluminum. It's a nice stylistic departure from Roomba, Samsung, and Neato designs that are more industrial and utilitarian.

The eufy11S did well in our tests at removing larger particles and fine dust from flooring. It was unable to thoroughly clean high-pile and medium-pile carpets. The device is prone to bump into furniture and people in its course. However, it is able detect obstacles with sensors. When it encounters them, it stops and lets out a loud sound so you can manually guide it through the obstacle before getting it back to work.

The BoostIQ mode is another fantastic feature of the eufy11S. It allows you to configure the robot to automatically adjust the suction strength based upon the type of floor and the level of mess. The remote control makes it simple to direct the 11S to your desired place.

If you don't have much furniture in the room you'd like to vacuum Single Room Mode is an excellent alternative. The eufy will spend 30 minutes intensely cleaning the area that it is assigned to.

It's not as powerful as pricier models, but it's excellent for dealing with stains and deep cleaning. The two cameras on the front of the unit provide live images to your smartphone, and it comes with one of the best obstacle avoidance systems we've seen. It has a huge bin, a long runtime and a quick, bump-free cleanup.
