The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best robot vacuum for thick carpet and pet hair-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can pick up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving along.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right like low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that needs to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It is able to even remove Wet Dry Robot Vacuum spills, though I recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to use it even if you're away from home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots at this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The center of the control panel has an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Wet Dry Robot Vacuum Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
