The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the click of a button. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, best Robot vacuum and mop and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones produce little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The Omni Omni has the top robot vacuum mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its rotating mop pads that scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are great however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot wyze vacuum robot avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
