The Best Robot Vacuum and Good Robot Vacuum Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a Good robot vacuum choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the features found in its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving along.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right for example, the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and Good robot Vacuum was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the industrial robot vacuum itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can manage it even when not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a set route.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of convenience features that you don't often see on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are great, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel has an oblique menu that allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
