The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to locate your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the click of one button. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robot vacuum that mops robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The app will only alert you when something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can also vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are nice to have but they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and automatic slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
