The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum mop combo robot and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of the button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two detailed maps of your home to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire Home Cleaning with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move on if it comes across one.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something needs attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's items that need to be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top robot vacuum cleaner performers during my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you could wish for. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it slightly more expensive than some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
