The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to handle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot Vacuums Robot. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up, you can start automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It can pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not the best robot vacuum mop combo time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with future models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its rivals and it takes only two or Vacuums robot three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on if it comes across one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo treats your abode. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of items that need to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It is able to even remove wet spills, though I recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could want. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not at home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead simply following a predetermined path.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
