The i3+ EVO has a weaker obstacle avoidance than some of the other robots we tested. It frequently hit objects such as handbags, pet toys and even shoes before continuing its path. It also had trouble dealing with coarse kosher salt which it blew up and around rather than picking up.

The i3+ EVO has a lot of great features to make it worth the extra cost over other Roomba models, such as the ability to empty the dustbin automatically and advanced control through the app. You can schedule cleanings and set up custom routines. It maneuvered obstacles well in our testing, and it can be controlled via an app or by speaking. It even supports scheduled cleanings and has a huge dust bin to capture the mess before it gets full. It can take up to 166 minutes to complete its work however, it is quicker than other robots we have test.
