The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as other models do to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of one button. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough maps of your home to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the pure clean robot vacuum water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong like a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo treats your abode. This is a great feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and best Buy robot vacuum mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best Buy robot vacuum known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It has a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The central control panel has the circular menu which allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
